Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren was seriously injured today after slipping and falling in his bathroom at his residence in Jamshedpur. He was admitted to Tata Motors Hospital in Jamshedpur for treatment, from where he is now being airlifted to Delhi.
Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari posted on social media that the Education Minister has suffered a head injury due to the fall in the bathroom and has developed a blood clot in the brain.
Ramdas Soren’s condition remains concerning. Doctors are constantly monitoring his health and praying to God for his speedy recovery.
Soren is a kidney patient and has been receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Therefore, at the request of his family, it was decided that Ramdas Soren would be airlifted to Delhi.
Earlier, a number of political figures and others posted on social media about the accident, and some media outlets even reported his demise based on rumours circulating online.
However, former MLA and JMM leader Kunal Sarangi posted on X and urged media organisations not to report anything about Ramdas Soren without confirmation. He said that he is accompanying Soren to Delhi.
“I urge my media friends not to share anything about Ramdas Soren ji without official information. I am with him and we are about to reach Apollo Hospital, Delhi. His condition is critical, but stable,” he posted on X.
