Ganesh Singh, a BJP MP from Satna, Madhya Pradesh, has been appointed as the chairperson of the Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes.

Established in 2012, this committee reviews the welfare measures for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and considers reports from the National Commission for Backward Classes.

The new appointments also include Dr. Faggan Singh Kulaste, a BJP MP from Mandla, who will chair the Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

This committee is tasked with overseeing welfare initiatives and assessing the implementation of policies for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
