Manipur emerges as the frontrunner among the northeastern states in the Union Public Service Commission's (UPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023, with ten aspirants securing positions on the prestigious list of successful candidates.
Out of a total of 1016 candidates recommended for appointment, Manipur proudly claims ten individuals who have exhibited exceptional merit and dedication.
Among Manipur’s triumphant talents are Kshetrimayum Deepi Chanu (Rank 508), Carolyn Chingthianmawi (Rank 543), Rahul Hijam (Rank 740), Heikrujam Prasanjeet (Rank 757), Chiinzoukim Tungnung (Rank 768), Syed Sidiqui (Rank 826), M Molightson Kanshouwa (Rank 870), Hatchinghoi Haokip (Rank 898), S Christopher Aimol (Rank 921), and Dominic Sominthang Haokip (Rank 994).
Meanwhile, Nagaland celebrates the success of four candidates who cracked India’s top competitive exam for the second consecutive year.
Tolino Chishi secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 431, with Alemyim Isaac Solo achieving AIR 749. Other successful candidates include Imsurenla Longkumer (AIR 774) and Chubalemba B. Chang (AIR 915).
In Assam, six candidates from the state cleared the prestigious exam, bringing joy to the region. Abhijan Hazarika emerged as the star performer, securing a remarkable rank of 172 in the UPSC CSE 2023, reflecting his dedication and hard work.
Joining Hazarika in this feat are five other candidates from Assam who showcased their mettle in the UPSC CSE 2023. Ricky Lohkar Pradhan secured a commendable rank of 230, followed by Rituraj Sharma at 462, Ishwari Deka at 320, Bhaskata Saikia at 552, and Kallul Hazarika at 992.
Noteworthy is the prior proficiency demonstrated by Abhijan Hazarika and Ishwari Deka, who cleared the Assam Finance Service exam under APSC CCE 2023, adding another accolade to their list of achievements.
