A chilling threat call that sent shockwaves through Mumbai has led to the arrest of a 34-year-old woman, who allegedly threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The threatening call, which was received by the Mumbai Police control room, sent authorities scrambling to assess the situation.

During the call, the woman claimed that a plan had been devised to take the life of the Prime Minister.

She further unnerved the operators by stating she was armed and prepared to carry out the attack.

"I have a weapon, and I am ready," she reportedly said.

Fortunately, quick-thinking officers in the control room alerted their colleagues, and the woman was swiftly tracked down.

Initial investigations have revealed that the woman is suffering from mental instability, although the authorities are proceeding with the necessary investigative procedures.

The police are working to ensure that all protocols are followed, as they continue to dig deeper into this unsettling case.

This disturbing incident is not an isolated one. Earlier this month, Mumbai Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for allegedly threatening Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

There have also been reports of Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan receiving death threats.

The actor, in particular, has reportedly received an alarming threat demanding a ransom of two crores, prompting the Mumbai police to file an FIR on October 30.

While Mumbai is no stranger to high-profile threats, the latest case has certainly raised concerns about the growing number of such threats targeting prominent figures.

The authorities are taking these incidents seriously, increasing their vigilance as investigations into the various cases continue.
