The Namo Bharat train will commence operations two hours earlier than its usual schedule at 6 am on Sunday to celebrate Bhai Dooj, according to a statement from the NCRTC.
The frequency of trains will be increased, the statement mentioned.
As per the announcement, train services along the operational section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor will begin earlier on Sunday, starting at 6 am instead of the typical 8 am.
These services will run until 10 pm. Normally, Namo Bharat train services are available from 6 am from Monday to Saturday and start at 8 am on Sundays, the statement noted.
Trains will run with increased frequency throughout the day to accommodate the anticipated higher passenger volume, ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience for all, the statement said.
