Neta Subhas Chandra Bose's family has reacted to Actor-turned Politician Kangana Ranaut's remark about calling Neta ji as first Prime Minister of India. Neta ji's family slammed Ranaut for her statement.
The grand-nephew of Subhas Chandra Bose, Chandra Kumar Bose wrote in a post on X, stating, "No one should "distort history for their political ambition."
"Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was a political thinker, soldier, statesman, visionary, and the 1st PM of undivided India. The only leader who could unite all communities as Bharatiyas to fight for India’s freedom. Real respect to the leader would be to follow his inclusive ideology," Chandra Kumar wrote in another post.
Chandra Kumar's statement came after Ranaut hit back at the trollers for controversy around her statement. Ranaut faced backlash after a video surfaced showing her referring to Netaji as India's first Prime Minister.
Kangana Ranaut shared a screenshot of an article on X, urging her critics to educate themselves about history. The article highlighted Netaji's establishment of the Azad Hind government in Singapore in 1943, where he declared himself as the first Prime Minister.
She wrote, "If I speak way ahead of your IQ you assume I must be uninformed, well the joke is on you and it’s a lame one!! (yawn)."
