Shantanu Gupta, a noted writer, has unveiled his latest creation, "101 Reasons, Why I Will Vote For Modi," a comic aimed at persuading voters to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections set to commence on April 19.
This comic, heralded as a compilation of diverse comic art styles, features a remarkable array of ten internationally acclaimed art styles, including semi-realistic, manga, Disney, traditional Indian comic book, and black and white styles.
The narrative of the comic revolves around a dialogue between a Modi critic and the author himself. Throughout their conversation, the author manages to provide the critic with over 100 reasons to endorse Modi in the 2024 general elections.
Gupta shared insights into the creation process, stating, "I have collected most of the stories after directly talking to the beneficiaries of the different schemes of the Modi government. Each of the 101 reasons are presented with comparison data of pre-2014 scenario, the human stories involved, and an English poetic couplet to capture the impact of that particular scheme of the Modi government.”
The publication house, The Write Order, highlighted the innovative artwork of the book, which effectively communicates the transformative impact of PM Modi's pro-poor policies on the lives of ordinary citizens. They emphasized the book's coverage of various sectors including healthcare, agriculture, education, armed forces, foreign policy, economy, jobs, infrastructure, and the PM’s contributions to the cultural renaissance of India. The narrative culminates in an exploration of the Narendra Modi factor in #NewIndia's development saga.
Gupta, known for his earlier works such as "The Monk Who Became Chief Minister" and "BJP: Past, Present & Future," has priced his latest offering at Rs 350. The book is currently available for purchase both online and offline.
