PM Modi’s speech in Jammu

PM Modi addressed the crowd for around 30-minute and urged people to grant the Bharatiya Janata Party 370 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. With this statement, PM Modi invoked Article 370, which tried to mark the significance of the annulment in the state. This was a day-long visit, which comes ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections. It is his second visit to J&K in his second term; the previous visit was in April 2022.

Article 370 (the movie)

Meanwhile, Article 370 is an action-packed political drama. In the film, Yami is playing the role of an intelligence officer. Besides her, the film also has Priyamani in the lead.

Recently, the trailer of the film was unveiled by the makers. The trailer states that the film will showcase terrorism and corruption in Jammu and Kashmir. In the trailer, Yami is referring to Kashmir as a ‘lost case’ and expressed her frustration as the special status of the state is seen as making it impossible for her to fulfil her duty. The film is also shown to highlight the emergence of terrorism in the region.

The director of the film is Aditya Suhas Jambhale. It is backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Yami’s husband, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar. It is slated to release on February 23.
