PM Modi Takes Veiled Jibe At Opposition Over Election Defeat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, responding to the debate on the motion of thanks to the President's address. In his speech, PM Modi took a veiled jibe at the opposition, particularly the INDIA bloc, expressing that he understands the pain of those who suffered a significant defeat despite spreading lies continuously.

He emphasised that the people have supported the BJP-led alliance in the Lok Sabha polls, electing the NDA government for the third consecutive time.

The Prime Minister highlighted that his government operates on the principle of "appeasement of none, justice for all." He credited the public's support to the government's zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and stated that India's credibility has increased globally due to this stance.

PM Modi asserted that every policy, decision, and action of his government has been guided by the principle of putting India first. During his speech, PM Modi addressed the issue of corruption, stating that the public has chosen his government in the world's largest election campaign. He acknowledged the opposition's attempts to spread lies but noted that they still faced a huge defeat.

The Prime Minister's remarks drew reactions from opposition members, who tried to raise the issue of ethnic violence in Manipur. However, Speaker Om Birla intervened, noting that an MP from the state had participated in the debate.

Speaker Om Birla expressed his displeasure with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's behavior, accusing him of directing opposition members to come to the well of the House.

PM Modi accused the opposition parties of engaging in appeasement politics and contrasted this with his government's focus on justice and satisfaction for all.

The Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to working towards a developed India, assuring the country that his government is dedicated to fulfilling the resolution of "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) with full dedication and honesty.

He emphasized that the debate on the motion of thanks to the President's address started in the Lok Sabha on Monday, highlighting the contributions of first-time Parliamentarians who enhanced the dignity of the House with their views.

PM Modi criticized the opposition's practice of appeasement politics, stating that his governance follows the principle of "santushtikaran" (satisfaction) instead of "tushtikaran" (appeasement).

He explained that santushtikaran involves the saturation of government schemes and extending governance to the last person, leading to true social justice.

Despite the opposition's continuous slogans and interruptions during his speech, PM Modi maintained that the principle of saturation ensures social justice in the truest sense.

He asserted that the people of India have confided in his government by electing them to power for the third time, reflecting their support for the government's track record over the past decade.

PM Modi concluded his speech by reiterating his government's belief in "Justice to All, Appeasement to None." He criticized the opposition's appeasement politics, asserting that it has destroyed the country.

Instead, he emphasized that his government's focus on justice and non-appeasement has garnered the support and trust of the people, allowing them to serve the nation for a third term.
