In a prelude to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a series of developmental projects in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

Emphasising his commitment to development, Modi stated that he only sounded the bugle of development, while the people themselves sounded the poll bugle in his favour.

Addressing the gathering after launching projects worth over Rs 19,100 crore, Modi highlighted the government's aim to reach all beneficiaries of its schemes, eliminating discrimination and corruption.

He emphasised that true secularism and social justice are achieved when every beneficiary is reached. Modi proudly stated that under his government, 25 crore people have risen out of poverty, with a commitment to continue uplifting common families.

Discussing 'Modi ki guarantee,' aimed at achieving the saturation of welfare schemes, the Prime Minister asserted that his government's efforts were directed at ensuring the benefits of schemes reach all beneficiaries. Modi gave a guarantee of saturation and a cent percent fulfilment of schemes.

Expressing his desire to reach all needy people swiftly without discrimination, Modi underscored the importance of eradicating poverty and strengthening common families.

He took a swipe at historical slogans like 'Garibi Hatao' and criticised the lack of significant development and social justice achieved by previous governments.

Addressing claims in the media that he would sound the election bugle in Bulandshahr, Modi clarified that he sounded the bugle of development and welfare for the last person in the queue.

He asserted that people sound the poll bugle for him, negating the need for him to spend time on it. Modi reiterated his focus on serving the people while the electorate engages in political campaigns on his behalf.

Highlighting the historical imbalance in development across regions post-Independence, Modi noted that Uttar Pradesh had been ignored for decades. He criticised governments that behaved like rulers, leading to the deprivation of a significant part of the country.

Asserting the BJP's double-engine government's role in accelerating development in Uttar Pradesh, Modi stated that building a developed India is impossible without the rapid development of the state.

Modi emphasised that the BJP's commitment to farmers is a top priority, with the government creating a 'suraksha kavach (protective shield)' around their families.

PM Modi acknowledged the contributions of leaders like Kalyan Singh, who dedicated his life to 'Ram Kaaj' and 'Rashtra Kaaj.' Modi expressed his determination to elevate 'rashtra pratishtha' to new heights, following the completion of 'pran pratishtha' in Ayodhya.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister inaugurated a 173-km-long double-line electrified section between New Khurja and New Rewari on the dedicated freight corridor (DFC). He flagged off goods trains from the two stations through video conferencing.

Modi also inaugurated a railway line connecting the Mathura-Palwal section and the Chipiyana Buzurg-Dadri section, enhancing rail connectivity of the region to southern-western and eastern India.

Unveiling road development projects and inaugurating the Tundla-Gawaria pipeline by Indian Oil, Modi praised the completion of the 255-km-long pipeline project ahead of schedule. He inaugurated the renovated Mathura sewerage scheme, including the construction of a sewage treatment plant.

The Prime Minister was presented with an idol of Lord Ram by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the event.

The comprehensive development initiatives unveiled by Modi underscore the BJP's focus on inclusive welfare and accelerated growth in the lead-up to the upcoming elections.
