PM Modi Wraps Up Three Nation Diplomatic Tour.

After completing a three-nation tour that included official engagements in Cyprus, Canada, and Croatia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived back in Delhi on Thursday. Significant diplomatic advancements were made during the visit, which improved India's bilateral relations with all three nations.

The Croatian people and government welcomed PM Modi with open arms during the last leg of the trip. He called the visit a "landmark" in the two countries' partnership.

"Thank you to the Croatian people and government for the cordial welcome during this genuinely historic visit. Modi wrote on X, "This visit marks the beginning of a new chapter in our shared journey of friendship and extensive cooperation."

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković met with Modi at the delegation level in Zagreb on Wednesday. Trade, defense cooperation, cultural exchange, and regional affairs were among the many bilateral topics discussed, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Additionally, Modi met with Zoran Milanović, the president of Croatia, and the two leaders had lengthy discussions about deepening their relationship. Modi posted on X, "Had extensive discussions on the full range of India-Croatia friendship, including ways to boost linkages of commerce and culture."

The Prime Minister traveled to Canada earlier this week to attend the G7 Summit. He met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and French President Emmanuel Macron on the fringes of the summit.

Modi thanked the Canadian government for hosting him, referred to the meeting as "productive," and reaffirmed India's commitment to world peace and sustainability.

"Completing a fruitful trip to Canada." Modi wrote on X, "I am grateful to the Canadian people and government for hosting a successful G7 Summit that saw productive discussions on a variety of global issues."

The Prime Minister met with President Nikos Christodoulides in Cyprus at the start of his tour.

Both leaders emphasized in a joint statement how crucial it is to refrain from taking unilateral action and to foster an atmosphere that will allow for the start of substantive talks on the Cyprus issue.

In accordance with the UN framework and pertinent Security Council resolutions, they reaffirmed their strong commitment to a UN-led process aimed at achieving a comprehensive and long-lasting solution based on a bizonal, bicommunal federation with political equality.

The visit, which blended targeted bilateral engagement with multilateral diplomacy, is interpreted as a manifestation of India's expanding global role and its focus on fortifying relationships with both established and new allies.
