Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address three rallies in Haryana, the state that will go to polls on May 25. The announcement was made by the state election management committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).  

 

On May 18, the prime minister will be holding rallies in Haryana's Sonipat and Ambala followed by another rally on May 23 in Mahendragarh. 

 

Subhash Barala, chairman of Haryana’s election management committee for the Lok Sabha polls, announced that rallies would be combined for three or more parliamentary constituencies. 

 

Meanwhile, the prime minister today is scheduled to hold a campaign roadshow in Ghatkopar in eastern Mumbai on Wednesday and address a public meeting in the city on Friday. 

 

In the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned visits to Mumbai, the police have banned the use of drones, paragliders, balloons, kites, and remote-controlled microlight aircraft in the city, an official said on Wednesday.
