Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that his government's surgical and air strikes had rattled Pakistan, and the neighbouring country's leaders are now wishing that the Congress "Shehzada" becomes India's Prime Minister.

Modi, speaking at a political rally in Palamu, took a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi without mentioning his name, saying that while the neighbouring countries may desire him as prime minister, India prefers "a strong country with a strong PM." "Maa Bharati's insult will not be allowed anymore."

New India's surgical and air strikes rattled Pakistan, which was renowned for sponsoring terror acts against India during the Congress rule.

Although one of the biggest terror incidents in Lethpora Pulwama occurred in 2019, during the BJP government, a car packed with explosives slammed into halted convoy busses on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, killing 40 CRPF personnel.

Nearly two weeks after the attack, India and Pakistan engaged in aerial combat, violating each other's territorial sovereignty.

Raking up the issue again PM Modi said, "The new India understands how to enter enemy territory and strike”, adding that "Now shaken by the surgical and air strikes, leaders in Pakistan are praying that the Congress 'Shehzada' becomes the Prime Minister of India.”

He asked the people to understand the significance of one vote, which "contributed to the construction of the Ram Temple after generations struggled for 500 years, as well as the repeal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir."

Furthermore, he said, he will not let "any design of the Congress" succeed in "changing the constitution to provide reservations to Muslims."

"I have no history of corruption in my 25 years as chief minister and prime minister. I do not possess a home or even a bicycle... However, crooked JMM and Congress officials have collected vast money for their offspring," he added.
