Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commended the overwhelming response to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, describing the public participation as "phenomenal" and a testament to the nation's deep patriotic spirit. The campaign, encouraging citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes, reflects the enduring pride in the Tricolour that unites Indians across regions.
On social media platform X, Modi remarked, "Glad to see #HarGharTiranga receiving phenomenal participation across India. This shows the deep patriotic spirit that unites our people and their unwavering pride in the Tricolour. Do keep sharing photos and selfies on harghartiranga.com."
The Ministry of Culture also expressed delight at the nationwide enthusiasm, highlighting the campaign’s reach from Kashmir to Lakshadweep and Gujarat to Sikkim. The ministry posted, "We are elated to see the enthusiasm surrounding the #HarGharTiranga campaign. From Kashmir to Lakshadweep and from Gujarat to Sikkim, the heartwarming images of people proudly hoisting the Tricolour show the deep connection that every Indian has with the National Flag."

Ahead of Independence Day, girl students in Udhampur engaged in preparing national flags as part of the initiative. Mubina Kausar, a participant, told ANI, "We are making the national flag. Independence Day is coming up, and we are very happy about it. Our teacher guided us to make the flags on our own. We will feel very proud when we wave our national flag, which we will prepare ourselves."
The government’s campaign, running from August 2 to August 15, urges citizens nationwide to hoist the tricolour at their homes. The Ministry of Culture has also linked the campaign with a renewed resolve for cleanliness, reinforcing the message "Cleanliness is Service."
The Ministry stated on X, "From August 2 to 15, hoist the tricolour at your home." It added, "This time, along with the tricolour, a resolve for cleanliness—the message of ‘Cleanliness is Service’ will be spread to every individual."
