A communication forwarded by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh to Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar stated, "This list shall be treated as valid in respect of the remaining Legislative Assembly constituencies in Schedule 2 and 3 for the State of J&K unless the revised list is forwarded within the prescribed time limit".
The other official campaigners of BJP candidates include Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Manohar Lal Khattar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Ram Madhav, Tarun Chugh, Ashish Sood, Jai Ram Thakur, Anurag Thakur, Smriti Irani, General (Retd) V K Singh, TrilokJamwal (Himachal Pradesh), Arun Prabhat Singh, NeelamLangeh, S Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, S Sarbjit Singh Johal, Dananther Singh Kotwal, SangitaBhagat, Haji Javeed Zargar, Sofi Yousuf.
