Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday inaugurate the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, a national memorial and complex honouring former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, along with BJP ideologues Syama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
The inauguration coincides with the 101st birth anniversary of Vajpayee, the Bharat Ratna awardee widely regarded as one of India’s most revered statesmen. Modi described the memorial as a tribute to the life, ideals, and enduring legacy of these visionary leaders.
“Along with Vajpayee ji, it features grand bronze statues of Syama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. In addition, a state-of-the-art museum has been developed, where visitors can learn about their invaluable contributions to nation-building,” Modi wrote on X in Hindi. He will also address a public gathering during the event.

The project is envisioned as a permanent national asset, inspiring present and future generations to uphold the principles and legacy of these leaders.
