PM to visit Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat on May 10-11

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka, Telangana and Gujarat on May 10-11, inaugurating projects worth around Rs 9,400 crore in Hyderabad, attending The Art of Living anniversary in Bengaluru, and taking part in Somnath Amrut Mahotsav in Gujarat, alongside multiple infrastructure and cultural engagements.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka, Telangana and Gujarat on May 10–11, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for projects worth around Rs 9,400 crore in Hyderabad, attending The Art of Living 45th anniversary celebrations in Bengaluru, and participating in the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav at the Somnath Temple, along with engagements in Vadodara during a two-day tour combining infrastructure launches and cultural programmes.

 

In Bengaluru, he will on Sunday morning attend The Art of Living 45th anniversary celebrations at the Art of Living International Centre and address the gathering. He will inaugurate the newly constructed Dhyan Mandir, a meditation hall for inner peace and holistic well-being, and launch nationwide service initiatives on mental well-being, rural development, nature conservation and social transformation.

 

In Hyderabad, Modi will inaugurate, dedicate and lay foundation stones for multiple development projects valued at about Rs 9,400 crore. He will also dedicate Sindhu Hospital, a cancer-focused, multi-super speciality quaternary care not-for-profit institution.

Among key infrastructure projects, he will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad–Panaji Economic Corridor at a cost of over Rs 3,175 crore, aimed at improving connectivity between Telangana and Karnataka and reducing travel time by nearly 90 minutes.

 

He will also lay the foundation stone for the Zaheerabad Industrial Area in Sangareddy district under the Hyderabad–Nagpur Industrial Corridor, developed at over Rs 2,350 crore across 3,245 acres, and the PM MITRA Park at Warangal, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, built at around Rs 1,700 crore under the 5F vision from farm to foreign. The Indian Oil Malkapur Terminal Project in Hyderabad, built at over Rs 600 crore, will also be dedicated.

 

Modi will reach Jamnagar on Sunday night before travelling to Somnath Temple on May 11 for the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav, marking 75 years of the restored shrine, where he will release a commemorative stamp and coin.

 

Later in Vadodara, he will inaugurate the Sardardham Hostel, which will accommodate 1,000 boys and 1,000 girls, with facilities including a dining hall, library and auditorium, before addressing gatherings at both events.
