Radhika Khera recently made headlines by taking a jibe at Priyanka Gandhi's "Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon" (I am a girl, I can fight) slogan after resigning from the Congress party.

In her statement, she expressed her disappointment with the silence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge, suggesting that the Congress party's slogan has now become "Ladki ho toh pitogi" (If you're a girl, you'll get beaten).

Reflecting on her time with the Congress, Khera lamented the party's shift towards what she perceives as being "anti-Ram." She highlighted the irony of a party that once began meetings with chants of "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram" now seemingly turning against the ideals associated with Lord Ram.

Khera also expressed her dissatisfaction with the lack of response from Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, despite her attempts to seek their attention over the past three years.

Khera further criticised Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, suggesting that it was more akin to travel vlogging than a genuine effort to connect with the people.

She claimed that despite her efforts to meet Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, she was unsuccessful, implying that the slogan "Ladki hoon lad sakti hoon" does not hold true within the Congress party.

Priyanka Gandhi had popularised the slogan "Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon" during the lead-up to the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly polls. However, Khera's remarks suggest a disillusionment with the party's leadership and its treatment of women members.

Earlier in the day, Radhika Khera tendered her resignation from the primary membership of the party, citing mistreatment by fellow party members. She alleged that despite informing the top leaders about the injustice she faced after visiting the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, she was denied justice.

In her resignation letter to the AICC, Khera emphasised the importance of the birthplace of Lord Ram to Hindus and expressed disappointment with the party's response to her ordeal.
