Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has extended an invitation to industrialists to invest in the state, promising a supportive environment for new industries. Speaking on Friday, Sharma expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming Ganesh festival and assured potential investors that his administration is dedicated to addressing any obstacles that may arise.
Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is preparing for a significant roadshow in Mumbai, aimed at promoting the “Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit 2024,” set to take place in December.
The event is part of a broader initiative to realise the vision of a developed Rajasthan, known as "Viksit Rajasthan," as articulated by Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa.
In his statement, Bairwa highlighted that Chief Minister Sharma is deeply committed to aligning Rajasthan’s development with the broader vision of “Viksit Bharat” advocated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharma’s focus spans various sectors including industries, electricity, and water.
Bairwa emphasised that Sharma’s efforts over the past eight months have been geared towards making Viksit Rajasthan a reality, showcasing a commitment to progressive and comprehensive development.
Rajasthan’s Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel added that the roadshow in Mumbai is a strategic move to attract industrial investment. He pointed out that industrial growth is crucial for the development of any region.
Rajasthan’s rich mineral resources are seen as a key asset in this endeavour. The “Rising Rajasthan” summit aims to draw both domestic and international entrepreneurs, with the Mumbai roadshow serving as a preliminary effort to generate interest and set the stage for future engagements.
Patel further explained that the roadshow’s purpose is to highlight the investment opportunities in Rajasthan. The ultimate goal is to facilitate a robust industrial landscape in the state. CM Sharma’s planned visits abroad are also part of this effort, aiming to position Rajasthan as a leading investment destination during the ongoing “Amrit Kaal” period.
The upcoming “Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024,” scheduled for December 9-11, will be supported by the roadshow in Mumbai. This event will see the signing of numerous investment memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth several lakh crores, the launch of the “Rising Rajasthan” website, and direct interactions between CM Sharma and key industry leaders.
At the roadshow, industry leaders who have previously invested in Rajasthan will share their experiences, and a short film will showcase the recent surge in investments within the state. Alongside CM Sharma and Industry Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore, several senior Rajasthan government officials will participate in the event.
