Woman forced into car gangraped by seven held for days.

A woman in Alwar, Rajasthan, has alleged that she was abducted, gang-raped by seven men and held captive for 11 days before being left unconscious on the roadside, police said on Monday.

The incident came to light after the survivor’s husband filed a complaint, prompting police to register an FIR at Bagad Tiraya police station on 2 June following a court order.

According to the complaint, the ordeal began on the night of 24 April when the woman stepped outside her home to relieve herself. She was allegedly forced into a Bolero vehicle by three men who drove her to a location near Paniyala Road.

There, four more men joined them, and the group took turns raping her inside the vehicle, the woman told police.

In her statement, the woman said that when she tried to resist and shout for help, the accused stuffed a cloth into her mouth.
She claimed her hands and legs were tied and that one of the men put a gun to her head, threatening to kill her if she spoke out.

“They recorded obscene videos and threatened to post them online if I told anyone.
They also offered me Rs 3 lakh to remain silent and later threatened to kill me when we filed a case,” the woman said.

She was eventually dumped unconscious on the roadside and later managed to return home with the help of local residents.
Her family initially refrained from approaching the police due to threats from the accused. When they did approach law enforcement, the FIR was allegedly not filed and the woman was sent away.

The family then moved the court, which ordered police to register the case.
Despite the FIR, no arrests have yet been made.

The woman, accompanied by her family, later visited the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to seek urgent action. The investigation has now been handed over to DSP Sunil Kumar Sharma of Ramgarh.

Additional Superintendent of Police Tejpal Singh said the survivor’s medical examination will be conducted and her statement will be recorded before a magistrate.
