Rajnath Singh foresees 'Ram Rajya' and top global economy status for India by 2027

India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh declared on Friday that the country is on track to establish 'Ram Rajya,' a concept of an ideal and just society, asserting that India will rise among the top three economies globally by 2027.

Speaking at a rally in Itkhori, approximately 160 kilometers from the state capital Ranchi, Singh emphasized the significance of the upcoming consecration of the Ayodhya temple, stating, "Ram Rajya will be established in India with the consecration of Ayodhya temple... Ram Lalla has reached his palace from his hut."

Singh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development initiatives, expressing confidence in India's trajectory under his leadership. "India will be 'vishwaguru' (world leader) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the back of development work undertaken by him," he remarked.

Regarding the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA, Singh defended the BJP's decision to grant citizenship to persecuted minorities from neighboring countries, including Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, and Parsis. He criticized those labeling the BJP as communal for this move, emphasizing the humanitarian aspect of providing shelter to those facing religious persecution.

Singh also took a swipe at former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, highlighting his incarceration for alleged corruption. "No one can point fingers at the BJP government over corruption unlike previous Congress regimes," Singh asserted.

The rally in Itkhori showcased Singh's strong support for the BJP's policies, including the implementation of the CAA, and his optimism for India's future under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
