Rashtrapati Bhavan has officially announced that its renowned Amrit Udyan will be open for public viewing from February 2 until March 30. The beautiful gardens, a symbol of tranquility and nature's splendour, are expected to attract large crowds throughout this period.

Visitors can enjoy the lush greenery and vibrant flowers six days a week, with opening hours from 10 am to 6 pm. However, the garden will remain closed on Mondays for routine maintenance.

Certain exceptions to this schedule are also in place. The gardens will be closed on February 5, in light of the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, and on February 20-21 due to the Visitors’ Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Additionally, on March 14, the garden will be inaccessible for visitors because of the Holi festival.

Entry to the Amrit Udyan will be facilitated through Gate No. 35 of the President's Estate, located at the junction of North Avenue and Rashtrapati Bhavan. To ensure easy access, a shuttle bus service will be available from the Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35.

This service will run every 30 minutes between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm.

A few special days have been designated for specific groups of people. On March 26, differently-abled persons will be given special access to the gardens.

The following day, March 27, will be reserved for defence, paramilitary, and police forces, and March 28 will be dedicated to women and members of tribal women’s self-help groups. Senior citizens will have a special day on March 29, with a focus on their convenience and enjoyment of the serene surroundings.

Visitors can enjoy free entry to Amrit Udyan, but bookings should be made through the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website. While online booking is encouraged, walk-in visitors are also welcome, providing an opportunity for those who may not have pre-registered.

As part of the ongoing celebrations, Rashtrapati Bhavan will host the "Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav" from March 6 to 9, 2025. This cultural event will showcase the rich heritage and traditions of Southern India, offering visitors an immersive experience into its unique diversity and cultural beauty.

The annual opening of the Amrit Udyan continues to be a highlight for the people of Delhi and tourists alike.

The meticulously landscaped gardens, coupled with the colourful and diverse blooms, offer a peaceful retreat in the heart of the capital city, attracting people looking to experience nature in its full glory amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life.
