Renowned spiritual leader Sadhguru recently faced a life-threatening medical crisis as he battled a severe headache that escalated rapidly, leading to a critical situation. On the advice of Dr Vinit Suri, Sadhguru underwent an urgent MRI, which uncovered a massive bleed in his brain.
By March 14th, the situation intensified, with Sadhguru experiencing a significant deterioration in his neurological condition.
His level of consciousness declined rapidly, accompanied by worsening headaches and recurrent vomiting.
On March 17th, after further deterioration, he was promptly admitted to undergo emergency treatment. A CT scan revealed alarming brain swelling, posing a life-threatening risk as the brain shifted to one side.
A team of expert doctors from Apollo Delhi, including Dr. Vinit Suri, Dr. Pranav Kumar, Dr. Sudheer Tyagi, and Dr. S. Chatterjee, swiftly performed critical brain surgery to alleviate the bleeding and pressure within hours of admission.
Following the surgery, Sadhguru successfully emerged from the procedure and was gradually taken off the ventilator.
“Since the surgery, Sadhguru has exhibited steady progress, with improvements noted in his brain activity, physical condition, and vital signs,” said Neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri in a statement.
