Security forces on Monday released sketches of two terrorists involved in the May 4 attack on IAF vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch area.

On May 4, terrorists attacked two IAF trucks carrying security personnel in the Bakrabal (Sanai) district of Surankote in Poonch, killing one airman, Corporal Nikky Pahadem, and injuring four.

The officials said, "Police have detained around 20 persons for interrogation thus far.

A major cordon and search operation continues in Poonch's Danna Top, Shahstar, Sheindra, and Sanai Top locations.

Senior Army and police officers, including GOC 16 Corps and ADGP Jammu, visited the attack scene yesterday and assessed the security measures."

According to investigations, Habibullah Malik, Alias Sajid Jutt, a Lashkar-e-Taiba commander originating from the Kasur area in Pakistan's Punjab region, orchestrated the deadly attack.

Earlier this year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a supplementary charge sheet against Jutt for planning terrorist acts in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly Rajouri and Poonch districts.

"On Saturday, a group of two to three terrorists are alleged to have attacked an IAF convoy near Shaistar Sanai in the Surankote region.

Anyone who provides useful and accurate information about the whereabouts of these terrorists leading to their arrest will be rewarded, and their name will be kept hidden," the officials added.

The government has also issued four cell phone lines for individuals to contact and exchange information. The numbers are: 9541051982, 8082294375, and 8082294375.
