In a ceremony marking the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the 'Surya tilak' of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya was conducted at noon on Wednesday, employing an elaborate mechanism of mirrors and lenses.

 

This intricate process directed sunbeams onto the forehead of the revered Ram idol, symbolizing a sacred tradition upheld for generations.

 

Adding a new dimension to the cultural heritage of the Ram Temple, Apple Green Diamond, a leading figure in the recrystallised gems industry, unveiled its significant contribution.

 

The temple's crown now boasts a stunning array of gemstones, including multiple emeralds and a distinctive ruby, courtesy of Apple Green Diamond's renowned brand, 'Diamondlite from Japan.'

 

At the Ram Lalla crown's core rests a prominent 35.81-carat oval Burmese ruby, flanked by emeralds totalling 22.23 carats.
