Tirupati hosts world’s biggest temple convention

The event has received supported from the union Ministries of Tourism and Culture, the ‘Incredible India’ initiative, while the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) is the presenting partner.

Tirupati is witnessing the second edition of International Temples Convention and Expo (ITCX) 2025— a conclave dedicated to temple administration and management. 

 

The event is world’s largest conclave on temple administration and management, taking place from February 17 to 19.

 

It is a flagship initiative of ‘Temple Connect’, an organisation founded by Giresh Kulkarni that has patented several IPs, while documenting and digitising information about the temples of Indian origin.

 

The event has received supported from the union Ministries of Tourism and Culture, the ‘Incredible India’ initiative, while the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) is the presenting partner.

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Endowments Boards of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala are also supporting the event.

 

Henceforth, three chief ministers — N Chandrababu Naidu of Andhra Pradesh, Devendra Fadnavis of Maharashtra and Pramod Savanth of Goa — apart from Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar, are in Tirupati to participate in the programme.

 

The venue ‘Asha Conventions’ on Karakambadi Road in Tirupati is taking place to unite Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist and Jain institutions offering a platform to network, strengthen and modernise temple ecosystems worldwide.

 

Chairman of ITCX 2025, Prasad Lad, has dubbed the event as the ‘Maha Kumbh of Temples’.

 

Addressing the media, Lad said that the event would witness hybrid participation from over 1,500 devotional institutions across 58 countries, featuring 111 speakers who will attending nearly 20 workshop and knowledge sessions.
