Tremors were felt in the Delhi-NCR region for the second straight day on Friday as an earthquake of Magnitude 3.7 struck at 7.49 pm.
The epicenter of the quake was again in Haryana’s Jhajjar, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
Residents rushed out of their homes, already scared after yesterday’s quake of Magnitude 4.4 that had struck near Jhajjar.

The epicentre of Thursday’s earthquake was three kilometres northeast of Jhajjar and 51 km west of Delhi, according to the NCS. The quake had struck at a depth of 10 km at 9.04 am and tremors had also been felt in Rohtak and Gurugram districts, Panipat, Hisar, Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad Noida and Meerut.
Delhi is classified under Seismic Zone IV, which is a "High Damage Risk Zone" and indicates a high potential for earthquakes of moderate to high intensity.
