BGR Vehicles Burnt in Jharkhand Extremists TSPC Hit.

Members of the banned militant organisation TSPC committed a violent act at Keredari, under the jurisdiction of the Hazaribagh Pagar OP police station area in Jharkhand, on Sunday, 1 June at around 8 pm.

The extremists associated with the organisation targeted two heavy vehicles belonging to the BGR company, which is operating in the KD coal project. They first opened indiscriminate fire at the vehicles and subsequently set them ablaze.

One young man has been reported injured in the firing. Both vehicles were completely destroyed by the fire. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the scene and initiated an investigation.

A letter purportedly from TSPC’s sub-zonal commander "Kaushal ji" was recovered from the site. The letter warned DO holder companies, including NTPC, CCL, and L&T, not to commence any operations without prior dialogue with the organisation.

The letter further threatens that failure to comply with these instructions could result in more serious incidents in the future, for which the concerned companies would bear full responsibility.

The officer in charge of the police station stated that, given the seriousness of the incident, security has been tightened in the area and an intensive operation is underway to apprehend the accused.
