Chirag Paswan and PM Modi share a candid moment at the NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting on Friday.

In a candid moment during the NDA parliamentary party meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chirag Paswan, the leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), shared warm gestures, signalling solidarity within the alliance.

Chirag Paswan, son of the late Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, expressed his support for PM Modi, hailing his leadership for the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing the NDA gathering, Paswan congratulated PM Modi and attributed the electoral triumph to his leadership.

"The credit for this goes to you," he affirmed, highlighting the unprecedented victory achieved under Modi's leadership.

"It was not a normal thing that NDA kept getting such a big victory under the leadership of the Prime Minister for the third time in a row," Paswan added, emphasising the confidence of the Indian people in Modi's leadership.

"Because of you, today in front of the world we can proudly say that India has become the fifth-largest economy of the country," Paswan continued, praising Modi's economic policies and India's global stature.

The BJP-led NDA, comprising several regional parties including Janata Dal-United, Telugu Desam Party, Shiv Sena, and others, stands united under Modi's leadership.

With the recent elections leaving the BJP short of the halfway mark, the support of these allies becomes crucial for their return to power for a third term.

Currently holding 293 seats in contrast to the opposition's 232, the NDA alliance remains a formidable force in Indian politics.
