The controversy around Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent and a comment made by guest Ranveer Allahbadia is still causing a stir in the comedy world. In a new development, comedian Harsh Gujral has deleted all episodes of his comedy show The Escape Room from YouTube.
Just days after Samay Raina took down all episodes of India’s Got Latent, Harsh Gujral has done the same with his show.
Like Samay’s show, The Escape Room featured dark humor and explicit jokes. It premiered in December 2024 but only had two episodes, both of which are now gone from YouTube.
The show had a "confession box" segment where participants shared shocking secrets. While Harsh has removed the episodes and made the show’s Instagram account private, the page still has 34.3K followers. He has not commented on why he deleted the videos.

India’s Got Latent, hosted by Samay Raina, has faced backlash due to a comment made by guest Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) in the latest episode. He asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents… or join in once and stop it forever?"

The remark caused widespread outrage, leading to a formal complaint against Ranveer, Samay, comedian Apoorva Mukhija, and the show’s organizers.
At a recent comedy show in Edmonton, Canada—his first since the controversy—Samay made a joke about the situation. A fan, Shubham Dutta, shared that Samay said: “Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself).”
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has criticised the show, and Ranveer appeared in court over obscenity charges.
