AAP announces screening committee for Punjab polls

Elections for five municipal corporations, 44 municipal councils, and nagar panchayats in Punjab are scheduled for December 21.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced the Screening Committee Members for the Punjab Local Body Polls scheduled for December 21. These elections will cover five municipal corporations, 44 municipal councils, and various nagar panchayats across Punjab.

 

As per the list shared by AAP, several leaders have been assigned responsibilities for different areas:

 

  • Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal is the Minister in charge of the Screening Committee for Amritsar.
  • Lal Chand Kataruchakk will oversee the Screening Committee for Balachaur.
  • Harjot Singh Bains has been appointed for Bagha Purana.
  • Laljit Singh Bhullar will manage Baba Bakala.
  • Barinder Kumar Goyal is assigned to Patiala.
  • Harbhajan Singh ETO will handle Jalandhar.


These committees will play a crucial role in candidate selection and election preparations for the upcoming Punjab Local Body Polls.
