Counting of votes for 90 states in Chhattisgarh, began this morning at 8:00 am. The Ruling Congress is confident of another victory, while the BJP hopes to defeat Bhupesh Baghel and come to power.

The Bharatiya Janata party has emerged victorious in Chhattisgarh with 54 seats in the assembly elections, removing Indian National Congress from power. The INC managed to win on 35 seats while the remaining one seat went to the Gondwana Ganatantra party.
