Asserting that the nation remains united against cross-border terrorism and organized crime, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has said that India will defeat every ‘ISI-backed terror conspiracy’ that is aimed at weakening the country. He has also reiterated that all those people will be exposed who are found to have links with Pak terrorist Shehzad Bhatti.
The BJP leader has expressed full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, while commending the Ministry of Home Affairs, besides all intelligence agencies in adopting tough approach against terrorism. He has also lauded the Indian Armed Forces, the Central Armed Police Forces, the Punjab Police, the Ludhiana Range Police and the Ludhiana Police for their relentless dedication to protect India’s sovereignty and national security.
In a post on his social media platform X, Grewal said, “ under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the decisive guidance of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji, India has built a stronger, more coordinated and highly effective counter-terrorism and intelligence framework. He stated that the courage, professionalism and selfless service of India’s intelligence officers, investigators, soldiers and police personnel deserve the highest respect and gratitude from every patriotic citizen”.
He said that the unwavering vigilance of India’s security and intelligence agencies have repeatedly exposed anti-national conspiracies, dismantled terror modules and safeguarded countless innocent lives. Their silent sacrifices and tireless service continue to strengthen the nation’s internal security and preserve the constitutional values of the Republic of India.
Referring to ISI operative Shehzad Bhatti, Grewal said that the developments are deeply disturbing and deserve the strongest condemnation. As Bhatti is alleged to have attempted to build recruitment networks by exploiting unemployed and economically vulnerable youth through online propaganda, the BJP leader has urged youth to remain vigilant against suspicious online contacts, fake job offers, financial temptations. He assured that every attempt would be made to expose those who have links with Bhatti.
