Nayab Singh Saini, a prominent RSS activist and close confidant of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, is reportedly poised to take the oath as the new Chief Minister of Haryana on Tuesday at the Haryana Raj Bhawan.
A lawyer by profession and Member of the Legislative Assembly representing Kurukshetra, Saini enjoys considerable support within the OBC community, making him a favored candidate among the party's voter base.
Saini's political trajectory within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is marked by a steadfast climb through the ranks. His association with the party dates back to 1996 when he commenced his journey within the Haryana BJP's organisational structure.
Having served alongside the state general secretary until 2000, Saini's dedication and acumen saw him rise steadily within the party hierarchy.
He assumed pivotal roles such as the district general secretary of the BJP Youth Wing in Ambala in 2002, followed by his appointment as the district president in Ambala in 2005.
Recognised for his grassroots-level work and unwavering loyalty to the party, Saini's ascent culminated in his appointment as the state president of Haryana BJP in October of the preceding year.
His leadership has been instrumental in consolidating the party's support base and fostering unity within the organization.
