The Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab has announced its candidates for the approaching Lok Sabha elections scheduled for June 1 in the state with all of them male contenders.
Among these 13 faces representing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab for Lok Sabha polls, the party did not field any 'female' nominee.
The ruling party in the state has placed five sitting ministers, three legislators, three defectors, one artist, and the Chief Spokesperson for the Lok Sabha polls as its candidates.
Earlier, Sushil Rinku who now is in the BJP, was fielded from Jalandhar constituency for the Lok Sabha elections, which now is replaced by Pawan Kumar Tinu.
Tinu is a recent addition to the Aam Aadmi Party.
Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal from Hoshiarpur, Ashok ‘Pappi’ Prashar, a sitting MLA from Ludhiana South, Malvinder Singh Kang, fielded from Shri Anandpur Sahib.
Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar is fielded from Ferozepur, and Amansher Singh Kalsi - Gurdaspur, Gurpreet Singh GP from Fatehgarh Sahib.
The party has also fielded Punjabi actor Karamjit Anmol from Faridkot.
