While the rumours of two AAP leaders in Punjab joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) swirled last week, both the leaders MLA Sheetal Angural and MP Sushil Kumar Rinku denied the speculations, the sources cited.

On March 16, Jalandhar MP Sushil Kumar Rinku denied the rumour while MLA Sheetal Angural refuting the rumours on Sunday notified that the latter is in Delhi for business and would soon be back to Jalandhar.

Angural at present is the representative from Jalandhar West constituency of Punjab.

Meanwhile, Rinku is among AAP's 8 candidates whom the party fielded for the approaching Lok Sabha polls in Punjab, which are scheduled to take place in the seventh phase on June 1.
