During the ongoing Winter Session in Parliament on Monday, Opposition MPs staged another protest. Congress leaders Manickam Tagore and Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka wore face masks of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani.
Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition, was seen taking pictures of the two MPs and asked them to describe their "relationship."
In a mocking tone, Tagore and Ulaka responded, "We will do everything together. We have had a relationship for years."
When Rahul Gandhi asked why Parliament was disrupted because of them, the MPs joked, "He is missing today. Amit bhai (Union Home Minister Amit Shah) did not come to the House today." The MP wearing the Adani mask added, "Whatever I say, he does it," pointing to his colleague wearing the Modi mask.
Since the session began on November 20, Parliament has faced constant disruptions as the Opposition continues to demand a discussion on the bribery charges against Adani in the US.
