The Air India special chartered flight 'AIC24WC', transporting India's triumphant T20 World Cup team, has garnered global acclaim as the most-tracked flight on Flightradar24.

Flightradar24 is an Internet-based service that shows real-time aircraft flight tracking information on a map.

It includes flight tracking information, origins and destinations, flight numbers, aircraft types, positions, altitudes, headings and speeds.

Departing from Barbados, the flight has become a symbol of excitement for fans eagerly anticipating the return of their cricketing heroes.

On X (formerly Twitter), Flightradar24 announced, "Our most tracked flight right now - T20 World Cup champions India on their way home."

YouTube personality Mufaddal Vohra also shared updates, noting that 4,032 users were actively monitoring the flight, highlighting the immense public interest in the team's journey.

The call sign 'AIC24WC' of the flight goes beyond a routine journey; it signifies India's historic World Cup victory ('24WC' for T20 World Cup 2024), reflecting the nation's pride in its cricketing achievement.

After landing in New Delhi early Thursday morning, the team first meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and are presently heading to Mumbai on another chartered flight.

"In another update on 'X', the flight-tracking portal announced: 'India's cricket team is airborne once more, reclaiming the top spot on Flightradar24.'"

In Delhi, the players were honored by the Prime Minister and they shared a breakfast with him as part of the celebrations.

The festivities will culminate with an open-top bus parade from NCPA, Nariman Point, to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, where BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will present the team with the prestigious Rs 125 crore prize money for their outstanding performance.
