India's 11-year-old racing sensation Atiqa Mir once again underlined her immense potential by producing a stunning qualifying performance at the Champions of the Future Academy Program Round 3, securing pole position after outpacing two Mercedes Formula 1 junior drivers at the technical Leopard Circuit.

Atiqa's achievement was particularly impressive as she arrived at the circuit without the benefit of any testing on the demanding track. Despite the lack of prior running, the young Indian immediately displayed remarkable pace and confidence during qualifying, setting a blistering lap that not only put her at the front of the grid but also established a new event record in the karting series.

The performance saw Atiqa beat established Mercedes F1 junior drivers Niccolo Perico of Italy and Devin Titz of Germany, both of whom are regarded as some of the most promising young talents in international motorsport. Her ability to match and eventually outpace drivers backed by a major Formula 1 development programme drew widespread praise from competitors, teams and officials in the paddock.
