The Australian cricket team arrived in Pakistan on Monday ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy, set to commence with the opening clash between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi on Wednesday.
Pakistan, the defending champions, won the previous edition of the tournament in 2017, defeating India in the final at The Oval, London.
"The Australian cricket team has arrived in Lahore for the @ICC #ChampionsTrophy 2025! They will play their first match of the tournament on 22 February against England at the Gaddafi Stadium," the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) posted on X.
The Australian contingent arrived in two separate groups. The first, comprising captain Steve Smith, coaches, and support staff, reached Lahore from Colombo via Dubai.
The second group, including 15 players and two additional support staff, arrived later in the day through the same route.
Similar to India, who will play all their matches in Dubai under the hybrid model agreement, Australia will not participate in any warm-up matches.

The team recently concluded a two-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka, which they lost 2-0.
Australia will open their campaign against arch-rivals England on February 22 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium.
Their second fixture is scheduled against South Africa on February 25 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, followed by a final group-stage encounter against Afghanistan on February 28, also at Gaddafi Stadium.
The Champions Trophy marks Australia's return to Pakistan for a major ICC event, continuing cricketing ties that have strengthened over recent years despite previous security concerns.
