Former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi broke the internet with her Instagram post during the IPL 2024 match between CSK and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday.
Sakshi posted an Instagram story to make a sincere request to the Chennai Super Kings, urging them to wrap up the game quickly because she was soon to be an aunt.
The post went viral in a matter of seconds.
The was a short clip of Dhoni wicketkeeping as Sakshi's post read: “Please finish the game fast today @chennaiipl baby is on the way...contractions have begun. Request from - to be 'Bua'!”
CSK's stellar bowling attack, led by pacer Tushar Deshpande, helped them secure a massive win at home.
Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad missed his second successive IPL century by a whisker, while pacers Tushar Deshpande and Matheesha Pathirana decimated the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting as Chennai Super Kings won their IPL home game by 78 runs.
Deshpande (4/27) and Sri Lankan Pathirana (2/17) came up with match-winning bowling figures to dismiss SRH for 134 in 18.5 overs.
Deshpande took the wickets of opener Travis Head (13) and Anmolpreet Singh (0) in his first over before getting rid of Abhishek Sharma (15) and captain Pat Cummins (5), while Pathirana got the dangerous Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen to demolish SRH.
