Indian golfers produced an impressive collective performance at the Dutch Ladies Open, with Diksha Dagar, Avani Prashanth and Pranavi Urs all securing top-five finishes in one of India's strongest showings on the Ladies European Tour (LET) this season.
Diksha and Avani finished tied for third place at eight-under-par 208, while Pranavi ended the tournament tied fifth at seven-under. The results highlighted the growing depth of Indian women's golf on the European circuit.
For Diksha, it was her fourth top-10 finish of the season, underlining her consistency throughout the year. Avani continued her fine run of form with a second consecutive top-five finish, while Pranavi recorded her first top-five result of 2026.
Avani came heartbreakingly close to earning a place in the playoff. The 19-year-old stood at nine-under after 17 holes and was level with the clubhouse lead established by Thailand's Aunchisa Utama. However, a bogey on the final hole dropped her back to eight-under, leaving her just one shot shy of extending the contest.
Diksha also threatened to force her way into the playoff race. A birdie on the 17th moved her to eight-under, and another birdie at the closing hole would have taken her into a share of the lead. However, she could only make par and ultimately settled for a tie for third alongside Avani.
Despite the disappointing finish, Avani delivered one of the standout rounds of the final day. She carded a five-under 67 that included six birdies, showcasing the confidence and consistency that have marked her recent performances.
Reflecting on her round, Avani said she was delighted with the overall standard of her game despite missing out on a playoff opportunity. "I'm obviously very happy with how the day went, but the last hole, I guess that's just sport. I played solid out there from start to finish. Every part of my game really did well, so I'm happy," she said.

The youngster also credited her recent improvement to overcoming back issues that had affected her game earlier. She added that successive top-five finishes had boosted her confidence significantly heading into the upcoming tournaments.
Diksha continued her steady progress on the LET with rounds of 68, 70 and 69. The left-hander has quietly emerged as one of the tour's most consistent performers this season, and another podium finish further strengthened her standing among the leading contenders.
Pranavi Urs also enjoyed an excellent week. After opening with a one-over 73, she bounced back strongly with rounds of 69 and 67 over the weekend. Her closing five-under round helped her climb into a share of fifth place and ensured India finished with three players inside the top five.
While the Indian trio impressed, the title ultimately belonged to Thailand's Aunchisa Utama. Starting the final day tied for 15th, Utama produced a flawless six-under 66 to set the clubhouse target at nine-under-par.
Norway's Dorthea Forbrigd later matched that total to force a playoff, but Utama held her nerve and secured victory with a birdie on the first extra hole to claim her maiden Ladies European Tour title.
The LET now heads to Czechia for the Czech Ladies Open, where the Indian contingent will look to build on a memorable week that once again demonstrated India's growing influence and competitiveness on the international stage.
