The Differently-abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) has named a 16-member Indian squad for the first-ever Mixed Disability T20 International Series against England, scheduled to be played in June and July across iconic venues, including the Lord’s.
Ravindra Gopinath Sante will captain the side, while Virendra Singh has been appointed vice-captain. The highlight of the seven-match bilateral series will be the third T20I, to be held at Lord’s on 25 June, marking a historic moment for India’s mixed disability cricket team at the 'Home of Cricket.'
A notable feature of the tour is the 1 July fixture in Bristol, which will be a double-header against the England Women’s team and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
The landmark series will feature cricketers from physical, hearing, and intellectual disability categories, playing together under one banner — a first-of-its-kind collaboration designed to promote inclusivity and redefine global disability cricket standards.
