India wins Asia Cup 2025 final by defeating Pakistan by five wickets in Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

Riding on Tilak Varma’s incredible half-century, India wins their second Asia Cup title in the T20 format. India and Pakistan faced their first-ever Asia Cup final today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. India was unbeaten so far in six matches in the Asia Cup 2025, while Pakistan have lost to India twice, once in the group stage and again in the Super Four stage.

Needing 10 off the last over, Tilak deposited the controversial trouble monger Haris Rauf into mid-wicket stands before Rinku Singh, getting his first hit of the tournament, sent the Indian fans into delirium with a winning boundary.

Having slumped to 20 for three inside first five overs, Tilak (69 not out off 53 balls) was composed and audacious in equal measure with Sanju Samson (24) and Shivam Dube (33 off 21 balls ) proving to be brilliant support casts as India chased down 147 in 19.4 overs.

The tension was immense due to off-field events leading up to the final but this Indian team led by Suryakumar Yadav and guided by Gautam Gambhir walked the talk when it came to upping the fearlessness quotient in a pressure cooker scenario with stands on a boiling point and fans engaging in fisticuffs.

India's star Kuldeep Yadav's spin magic restricts Pakistan to 146 in the final of the ongoing T20 Asia Cup in Dubai.

India made a superb comeback with the ball in the second half of the match. After being 113-2 in 12 overs, Pakistan were bowled out for just 33 runs.

India were without star all-rounder Hardik Pandya in the Asia Cup 2025 final. Suryakumar Yadav and Salman Ali Agha once again avoided the handshake at the toss. Yadav also did not attend the trophy photoshoot with the Pakistan captain before the toss.

After winning the toss, India opted to bowl. Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman opened the innings. Shivam Dube took the new ball and conceded only a four in the first over.
