India will meet New Zealand in the fourth T20I of the five-match series at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday, October 30. The match will begin at 12:30 PM IST, with the toss scheduled for 12:00 PM IST.
India have already secured an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series and may give wrist-spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy an opportunity in the upcoming fixture. The result has also confirmed India’s third consecutive T20I series win in New Zealand. New Zealand’s last home victory over India came in Hamilton in 2019.
Eden Park is expected to host a sell-out crowd of nearly 40,000 spectators. If achieved, the attendance would set a new record for a bilateral series match in New Zealand. The existing record stands at 36,523, registered during a men’s and women’s double-header between New Zealand and India at the same venue in 2019.
