Italy has made history by participating in cricket on a world stage for the first time by playing against Scotland in their T20 World Cup debut at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Captain Wayne Madsen said his players are very proud to be playing in this game and will be ready to embrace the experience and show what they can do on the largest global sporting stage.
Scotland lost their opening match against the West Indies and made one tactical change, bringing in pace bowler Brad Wheal instead of Safyaan Sharif. Both teams are eager to win to increase their chances of advancing from Group C.
