Jasprit Bumrah's exceptional bowling performance, claiming six wickets, complemented Yashasvi Jaiswal's double century, allowing India to seize control in the second Test against England. 

India, after posting 396 in the first innings, dismissed England for 253, securing a 143-run lead. Bumrah's remarkable figures of six for 45 dominated England's batting lineup.

Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal's earlier contribution of 209 added to India's advantage. At stumps on the second day, openers Rohit Sharma and Jaiswal led India to 28 for no loss, extending the lead to 171 runs.

Bumrah's impactful spell during the second day's afternoon session turned the tide in India's favour. England skipper Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow, at the break, were still in the middle with England trailing by 241 runs.

Earlier, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Ben Duckett, caught at silly point, shortly after lunch. Zak Crawley's aggressive innings, with 11 fours and two sixes, kept England scoring at a brisk pace. However, Bumrah's intervention in a four-over spell changed the game.

Employing reverse swing, Bumrah deceived Joe Root with a delivery moving away, inducing an outside edge. The dismissal of Ollie Pope was even more impressive, as Bumrah delivered a fast-reversing yorker that left the England batsman with no response, resulting in a significant wicket.

England, adopting an aggressive approach, scored at five runs an over before Bumrah's impactful spell halted their momentum.
