Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the Viksit Bharat Young Leader’s Dialogue and the National Youth Festival 2025 at Bharat Mandapam on Saturday.
The event has drawn over 3,000 young leaders from across the country to engage in thematic discussions, creative competitions, and dialogue on national progress.
The festival saw the participation of notable dignitaries, including Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, ISRO Chief S. Somanath, and journalist Palki Sharma Upadhyay.
Addressing the gathering, Mandaviya emphasised the critical role of youth in shaping India’s future.
“Today’s event is organised by the youth and is for the youth,” he stated, urging the participants to actively contribute towards nation-building and transformative change.
A key highlight of the festival is scheduled for January 12, the concluding day, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with a select group of 20 exceptional young leaders.
These individuals, chosen from among the 3,000 participants, will present their innovative ideas on critical issues, including women’s empowerment and other national challenges.
Mandaviya encouraged the youth to seize this unique platform.
“When the 20 out of all meet the PM tomorrow and share your vision for Viksit Bharat, you will also seek his commitment and support to achieve this dream together,” he remarked.
The National Youth Festival 2025, designed to celebrate the energy and creativity of India’s youth, serves as a hub for fostering leadership and cultivating innovative solutions to propel the country towards a brighter future.
