Rajasthan Royals beat RCB with dominant batting display in IPL

The Rajasthan Royals have beaten the Royal Challengers Bengaluru with dominant performances from batters and bowlers in the IPL clash on Friday night. With blistering fifties by young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel, powering RR to a six-wicket win over RCB.
 
After winning the toss, Rajasthan sent RCB to bat first, and the visitors were struggling at 123 for 7. However, with a fighting half-century from Captain Rajat Patidar, the team eventually reached 201 for 8, courtesy of Virat Kohli’s 32, Romario Shepherd’s 22, and Venkatesh Iyer’s 29.
 
Batting second, Rajasthan Royals’ young sensation Sooryavanshi got his team off to a flier after scoring 78 off 26 balls, while Jurel scored 81 not out off 43 balls. The duo shared a 37-ball 108-run partnership for the second wicket to set the platform.
 
RCB spinners tried to bring some control over the game, with back-to-back wickets by Krunal Pandya. However, Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja completed the task with another 68-run stand, with two overs to spare.
 
Royal Challengers Bengaluru: 201 for 8 in 20 overs (Rajat Patidar 63; Jofra Archer 2/33, Ravi Bishnoi 2/32, Brijesh Sharma 2/37).
 
Rajasthan Royals: 202 for 4 in 18 overs (Vaibhav Sooryavanshi 78, Dhruv Jurel 81 not out; Krunal Pandya 2/30, Josh Hazlewood 2/44).
