Renowned Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is set to unveil his autobiography, "I Have the Streets: A Kutti Cricket Story," in collaboration with author Sidharth Monga, on June 10, as announced by Penguin Random House India (PRHI) on Monday.

 

The book promises an intimate portrayal of Ashwin's life before his cricketing stardom, shedding light on his formative years and the journey to becoming one of India's cricketing greats.

 

Ashwin expressed his anticipation for sharing his journey, aiming to inspire aspiring cricketers with his story of perseverance and dedication.

 

"I Have the Streets" delves into Ashwin's childhood struggles, family support, and the cricket-centric environment of his Chennai upbringing.

 

 

With an illustrious career in Test cricket, Ashwin holds records such as being the fastest bowler to claim 300 Test wickets.

 

As a pivotal member of India's 2011 World Cup-winning team, Ashwin also boasts two IPL titles and a Champions League T20 trophy.

 

Sidharth Monga, the co-author, expressed his pleasure in collaborating with Ashwin, incorporating unique experiences and insights into the narrative.

 

The autobiography offers a glimpse into the mindset of a champion athlete, revealing his motivations on and off the field.

 

Publisher Milee Ashwarya lauded the book's inspiring narrative, highlighting its appeal to readers fascinated by the journey of a sportsman chasing his dreams.
